About

Atlex Ltd is a contracted deer reduction operator, not a sporting stalking business.

Atlex is brought in when deer pressure on a holding has moved beyond what the current arrangement can contain. The company plans reduction around the land itself — farming, forestry, public access, neighbours — and leaves a written record of what was done and what it achieved.

The work is scoped, recorded, and closed out against an agreed target. Atlex is not brought in for open-ended or informal management.

What Atlex does and does not do

Does

  • Contracted reduction work against an agreed target and defined end point.
  • Ground assessment and thermal survey where a count is needed before work starts.
  • Day and night culling where damage, numbers, and conditions justify it.
  • Consistent records throughout the work that the owner or manager can refer to.

Does not

  • Sell sporting days or recreational stalking.
  • Sell training, equipment, or membership.
  • Drift into open-ended management without a defined brief.

How the work is agreed

Work is agreed before it starts: what reduction is realistic on that ground, how access and farm or forestry operations will be handled, and how carcasses and neighbours are managed.

The same record fields are used on every cull, so the picture stays consistent across a season or if the team changes.

Commercial terms are settled in private when the client instructs Atlex. They are not discussed on this site.

Records and discretion

Records are produced for the client and for grant or assurance purposes where required. They are not published as case studies.

Atlex does not name clients or sites on this site. References are available after an initial conversation.
